Paul MacIntosh - Chief Executive

Paul has been providing wealth management advice to private clients for over 18 years.
Having graduated in economics from the London School of Economics and qualifying as an adviser, Paul worked within the personal financial planning division of the investment bank, Granville plc whom he joined in 1987, setting up the Leeds office for the company in 1992. In 1996 he was appointed as Managing Director of the Wealth Management division and was appointed to the main board. He also became a member of the Granville plc Executive Committee and was involved in the day to day running of the investment bank.
In 1999 Granville plc was sold to the US based investment bank Robert W Baird, Paul was a member of the senior executive team set up to negotiate the sale. In 2001 he negotiated the transfer of the private client wealth management team of Granville Baird to wbs, a Leeds based regional firm of accountants, where he became a partner.
On leaving wbs in July 2004 he immediately set up the new business of MacIntosh James & Partners.
Paul has extensive experience of advising a variety of clients, specialising in providing strategic wealth management advice to professionals, senior executives and entrepreneurs.
